Citronelle - November 6, 2003 - Washington D.C.
On the evening of November 6th, eight foodies and SSE members were treated to a night to remember at Citronelle in Washington, D.C. Sitting at the chef's table in the kitchen, the "Citronelle Eight" experienced a rare glimpse into the inner workings of one of Washington's highest-rated restaurants. We enjoyed a twelve-course feast that included foie gras, lobster, and herb-encrusted halibut. Some fabulous French wines were served, and the whole evening was capped off by an amazing assortment of sweets and dessert wines. We left satiated and content, and SSE walked away with just under $1000.
