Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant - March 3, 2007 - Washington D.C.

A near full house collected on March 3rd at Maggiano's in Washington D.C. for the Fifth Annual SSE Charity Dinner. Mounds of fine Italian fare was served and SSE supports were treated to the yearly presentation featuring images and a brief re-cap of this year events and donations with a look ahead at what is planned for 2007. Once again it was nice to see the returning supporters and to meet so many new faces to our growing organization. 2006 was a great year for us and 2007 is looking even better - thanks to all of you. Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant - February 18, 2006 - Washington D.C.

Nearly 60 SSE faithful gathered last Saturday night for the Fourth Annual SSE Charity Dinner held once again at Maggiano's in Washington D.C. This year's attendees were treated to plates and plates of the finest Italian fare complimented quit well by a subtle red from Uruguay. Just before the mountains of Tiramisu were served the throng sat back and enjoyed a quick presentation, which featured images from last years events and highlighted what is to come in 2006. Thanks to all who made the trip to DC for this years event, it was quiet enjoyable to see so many faces from so many places - in particular it was great to meet many of the new SSE supports. Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant - February 25, 2006 - Milwaukee, WI

The bitter cold did not damper the spirits of the nearly 30 people who gathered for the SSE Dinner in Milwaukee last Saturday night. Maggiano's played host to this years event which featured plenty of Italian favorites, a brief speech from SSE founder Mark Beemer and plenty of Tiramisu. Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant - March 12, 2005 - Washington D.C.

The Third Annual SSE Charity Dinner last Saturday night was a resounding success. More then 60 people were treated to a stunning array of Italian specialties including tomato vodka gnocchi, roasted rosemary chicken and a tiramisu to die for. After dinner and dessert, guests watched a multimedia presentation that included a video highlighting many of 2004's events and an overview of the events from 2004 and what is planned for 2005. It was a great way to celebrate everything SSE accomplished in 2004 and to announce what 2005 holds. Thanks to everyone who attended this year's event, with a special thanks to those who traveled from NYC, Austin, Minneapolis, Pennsylvania, and Los Angeles - it was good to see so many familiar faces and to get to know many new SSE supporters. The wine and martinis flowed freely and the conversation was light as nearly 40 people gathered at the newly opened Maggiano's for this year's SSE Charity Dinner in Milwaukee. Supporters from all over the mid-west joined together to toast SSE's past successes and future adventures. The Second Annual Syrentha Savio Endowment Charity Dinner was a resounding success. More than 70 people gathered at Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant in Washington, D.C. to enjoy an evening of food, wine and fundraising. The evening included a wine and martini bar, a family-style Italian banquet, a decadent array of dessert choices, and was highlighted by the unveiling of the 2003 Events video presentation. Thanks to all of you who attended the dinner, with a special nod to those who traveled from as far away as Minneapolis and New York City to make this dinner something very special. Citronelle - November 6, 2003 - Washington D.C.

On the evening of November 6th, eight foodies and SSE members were treated to a night to remember at Citronelle in Washington, D.C. Sitting at the chef's table in the kitchen, the "Citronelle Eight" experienced a rare glimpse into the inner workings of one of Washington's highest-rated restaurants. We enjoyed a twelve-course feast that included foie gras, lobster, and herb-encrusted halibut. Some fabulous French wines were served, and the whole evening was capped off by an amazing assortment of sweets and dessert wines. The Velvet Room - March 8, 2003 - Milwaukee, WI

Held on March 8th, 2003 The Syrentha Savio Endowment Charity Dinner in Milwaukee was a success. Despite a late winter snowstorm and bitter cold temperatures, 30 brave souls gathered at The Velvet Room to enjoy an evening of food and fund raising. The evening included many samplings of The Velvet Room's famous Martinis and a wonderful dinner, which was topped off with an amazing chocolate covered cheesecake. The First Annual Syrentha Savio Endowment Charity Dinner was a complete success. Despite heavy rains and many flooded basements, 50 wine and food connoisseurs gathered at Maggiano's Little Italy Restaurant in Washington D.C. to enjoy an evening of food and fund raising. The evening included an open wine bar, a family style Italian banquette, a presentation of past and future SSE events, and was topped off with an array of desserts.
