The National Race For The Cure - Washington D.C. - June 5, 2010
It’s time . . . time to strap on those stepping shoes, pull on your headband and dust off your knee high socks – it’s time to sign up for this year’s fun-filled Team SSE and the National Race for the Cure. Once again, SSE will be fielding a team and we want YOU to be part of the fun on Saturday, June 5th in Washington, D.C. As most of you know from participating in years past, this low-impact 5K walk is the perfect way to show your support for an organization you believe in and have a bit of fun on the early morning streets of DC. We are looking for YOU to join us on this meandering stroll through our nation’s capital – we would love to field a HUGE team this year:
This year you have a few new options for registering. You can join Team SSE for a small donation of $20 (see below for info on signing up). If you are interested in also officially register with the Komen Foundation (the organizers of Race for the Cure), please follow the link below. Register as an individual for the 5K Walk and your bib number will be mailed directly to you.
It is entirely up to you – if you wish to just join Team SSE like in years past – GREAT. And if you wish to register with Komen in addition to joining Team SSE – GREAT.
Hope to see you on the 5th
