2003 National Race for the Cure
It rained. It poured. It flooded.
In spite of all the rain and the fact that some Metro trains were not running, Team SSE mustered over 45 brave participants for this years National Race For The Cure, which was held in Washington DC on Saturday, June 7. Even with this year's odd, new route, spirits were kept high with a brisk pace and lots of plastic. Within an hour and fifty minutes we were headed back to HQ for some hot bagels and cool OJ. I would like to thank everyone who signed up for this year team (80+ members from all over the country), and especially those who braved the weather to join us on the walk. You are helping keep Syrentha's spirit alive and well.
