2005 Washington D.C. Race for the Cure

The sun smiled brightly on Team SSE and the 60,000 other participants in this year's National Race for The Cure held in Washington, D.C. this past Saturday. Walking at the mellow pace of 2.9 kilometers per hour, the 40+ Team SSE members took to the sunny streets of DC, raising eyebrows and making a bit of a splash with our stunning new team shirts and great new signs. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us, it was great to see so many new faces mixed in with the SSE faithful. Thanks to the crews from New York and New Jersey for making the trek south and a special thanks to our local chapter for encouraging so many new people to join us. And an extra special thanks to Matt Michel for designing this year's amazing new team shirt, it was by far the best shirt we saw all day and it generated quite a lot of attention.
