2003 Madison Race for the Cure

Twenty Team SSE members, including a handful of youngsters under 12, braved the unseasonably chilly weather to participate in the Endowment's first Madison RFTC. Walkers were in prime form for the 5K Walk and didn't seem to mind that the route brought us by a wind blown lake and an old county landfill. After finishing the walk in an earth-shattering time of one hour and fifteen minutes, we headed to the Glass Nickel for pizza and lemonade to celebrate. Thanks to all who participated and to SSE local rep Kristin Sage for doing all of the local legwork.
